MALE; 25 - 35 YEARS OLD;
WITH GOOD MORAL CHARACTER;
VOCATIONAL / TECHNICAL COURSE GRADUATE;
AT LEAST ONE (1) - TWO(2) YEARS EXPERIENCE
AS HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC –
TROUBLE SHOOTS SUPER STACKER, PRIME MOVER AND CHASSIS,
FORKLIFT AND OTHER LIGHT EQUIPMENTS,
ATTENDS TO MECHANICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE
PROPER COORDINATION OF THE OPERATOR;
ASSISTS IN THE REPAIR OF SPARE PARTS,
CONDUCTS ACTUAL INSPECTIONS OF THEIR EQUIPMENT
BEFORE THEIR ACTUAL OPERATION;
UNDERTAKES PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE OF EQUIPMENT BY
STRICTLY FOLLOWING THE SCHEDULE;
MONITORS THE AVAILABILITY OF SPARE PARTS;
CHECKS UP THE GENERAL STRUCTURE AS WELL AS
THE MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS OF THE EQUIPMENT,
ADJUSTS FAN BELTS, WIRE ROPES, CHAINS,
REPLACES WORN OUT PARTS, LUBRICATES EQUIPMENT, CHANGES OIL FILTERS;
ASSISTS IN THE REPAIR OR RE-USABLE SPARE PARTS;
CONDUCTS THE ACTUAL INSPECTION OF EQUIPMENTS
BEFORE AND AFTER THEIR OPERATION FOR SAFETY PURPOSES;
UPDATES MECHANICAL CHECKLIST WITH PROPER COORDINATION WITH THE OPERATORS;
PERFORMS PRE-OPERATIONAL CHECK UP OF ENGINES;
TROUBLESHOOTS LIGHT AND HEAVY EQUIPMENTS
BY COORDINATING WITH THE OPERATORS TO DETERMINE CAUSES OF BREAKDOWN;
OPERATES HEAVY EQUIPMENT IF DEEMED NECESSARY;
COORDINATES WITH MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT /
TERMINAL MANAGER FOR ANY ASSIGNMENT FOR THE DAY / WEEK;
VULCANIZES / CHANGES TIRES;
RECEIVES AND FORWARDS JOB REQUESTS TO MAINTENANCE
SUPERINTENDENT FOR THE REPAIR / CHECK UP OF THE EQUIPMENT.
KNOWS ENGINE OVERHAULING AND TROUBLESHOOTING OF LIGHT AND HEAVY EQUIPMENTS.
